Ya know wot --I must be getting old.
A part of me is laughing at them
But a frigging heck of a lot bigger part is going GOOD ON EM.
Who the heck are we to judge them or to take the piss outa their happieness??
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

No you are not getting old... just being able to see through the physical to their happiness.

Bah, sure good on em, I'm glad they've found happiness with each other. But by fuck do the pictures make me laugh, and there isn't anything wrong with laughing in my book.

No offence folks but this ain't funny to me at all.

If these are genuine wedding pictures of real people used without their permission just for a few cheap laughs then its a pretty poor show! (sorry, I only looked at the first one)

We covered this ground with the 'When is it time to give up being a biker chick' thread and my opinion has not changed. Making fun of people like this is as bad as child porn in my books. Helpless and unfortunate victims that have no redress. I hope we don't see much more of this stuff.

    Cheers

Allmost all humour revolves in some degree to the misery, suffering, or misfortune of others. Just remember that nothing, and noone is too sacred to be laughed at and you might be a happier person for it.

No, I disagree... I can accept that no one is above being mocked if they take themselves too seriously or stuff up badly in public. People that put themselves into the limelight and seek the public adoration run this risk when they fall from grace. If those pictures were of actors or from a film or play I would gauff with the rest! However, would I laugh if a racer stuffed up and died horribly while burning alive on the track? No, suddenly thats not funny is it because there are consequences.

Humour can be a beautiful and clever thing but this is just mean and hurtful.

You forget that should these be real, that these people have feelings and that these pictures may not have been taken just for your amusement. If someone has taken a private moment and held it up for ridicule without permission it is a bad bad thing. In my opinion, one of the very worst forms of bullying! How would you feel if you found out these people killed themselves because of the ridicule??

What next? Perhaps you would like to post some pictures of amusing birth defects in orphans? How about your sisters difficult afterbirth, your mother as she wet herself during her last gasps of breath as she lays dying all wrinkly at 95 or your own tiny penis, I'm sure that would raise a chuckle or 2?

It's about taste and having standards. Do not ridicule those less able and those who are unable to defend themselves!

Well thats MY opinon anyway. I know it finds no favour here but really, there are already a hell of a lot of voyeur websites if you need this shit. Do we need it here?

Gotta say I aggree with Scorpygirl and Paul on this one. Our society has become far too judgemental and too quick to ridicule others, rather than seeing the beauty in individuals and appreciating their uniqueness. Seems like sometimes all people can do is bag others & I'm sick of it.

Once upon a time kids were taught that if they diddn't have something nice to say about someone then they shouldn't say anything at all.

Thank you SlashWylde. It's just that sometimes I see things differently because of the kids that I see at Starship. They have a beauty inspite of the physical stuff and they have a maturity beyond all of us. Just read one very special article in the 24th April NZ Women's Weekly and you will see what I mean. If I see any mention of this or pictures in jest on a thread in KB I will have you via the mods. Please respect people!!!

I am sad to see this posted here

.............. but relieved/happy to see some of the responses made to it - i really LIKE you people!!

Moreover craig11 ...if happiness is reserved only for the "beautiful people" then i would suggest that most of us would be excluded - happily for us, it ain't so!
