Wanted: R1 Wheels

Im looking to find a set of rims to suit an '04 R1. Will only be used as spares for wet tyres on race bike, so condition not too important.

I'm betting there's a good chance the R1 aint going back on the road then? Good job, the world needs less R1s.

Im sure it will get taken out for the odd ride every now and then, but it will be having all road gears removed and rego put on hold.

Tips such as: 1) Petrol! And why it's easier to win whilst using it.

Yeah, they dont have any unfortunately.

Yeah, but they only have earlier model rims, dont fit the 04 on.

I found them pretty good. They use that network radio thing with the other wreckers if they haven't got anything...so it's a good hub to start with if you can't be arsed calling every wrecker in the country.

Cheers, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any around here.

Got a set of rims with discs and some powers on them from the states for $625.00 NZ which I think was a pretty good deal. Hopefully can sell the powers to pay for shiping.
