Bike/car hybrid hailed as “future of city driving”

A team from the University of Bath has designed a three-wheeled vehicle, described as ‘part-motorbike and part-car’. Called the Clever, it is half the width of a conventional car, can carry a passenger and, as it runs on gas, would be exempt from the congestion charge in London.

The Clever has a top speed of 60mph and will cost from £5,000 to £10,000 if it makes it into production.

Clever, huh? Are they trying to be Smart (tm)?

    Two elephants and a cymbal fall off a cliff . . . ba-dum chish!
    I told him,
"Son, what is it with you? Is it ignorance or apathy?"

    He said,
    "Coach, I don't know and I don't care."

Bob I'm disappointed. Your standards are slipping!

This was posted a couple of days ago... and the 3some one too!
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Hell.... the Corporation of the BBC (BBC journalist staff of 3500 (based on NUJ membership) managed to get ahead of... one bloke working on his own, during his lunch break. Get me my sackcloth and ashes and beat me with a pointed stick!

Seriously, I did spot this one a few days ago, but wasn't sure whether it merited being put up as a bike news item. But as not a lot has happened this week, I decided it might be of interest to, well, someone...
