I didnt get any pics Gareth, there were a few peeps taking them tho, i will post when i get hold of them.

Ended being showers all afternoon which was a shame as i (and everyone else) was keen to have a cain around the full track.
Still had a great time, being very ginger in the very slippery conditions.
Everyone was sliding around, some more than others.
There were a few ultra slippery patches, namely the right left onto the new pit striaght, holy crap! The grid lines didnt help being mid corner, got both ends moving out.
Full throttle isn't really an option except for the 2 straights, even then it was wheel spin on.
Had one semi major bum outa the seat near highside which was fun.
I was totally stoked with how the pilot powers (buy yourself some) worked in the shocking conditions.
They enabled me to be one of the fastest on the day
I still had a blast inspite the conditions, trying to be smooth and gentle, learning the track and exercising ALOT of restrant.

Ben, i was impressed with how you conducted yourself m8.
You looked sharp and in control on the track, consistantly hastling bikes 3-4 times the power of yours. Nice n smooth, good show man. Hope to see you at the next one (and the KB day, even if it is only the short track http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=24179 ).

Mark, fuckin sorry bout the weather man. Running dry race tyres on a smooth track musta been a handfull.
Sure looked hairy the times i saw crossed up in the search for traction!
Loved the wheelies. Everyone did. They are getting farkin high now man!
Jolly good show. Esp loved the length of the main straight wheelie next to the poor yellow zxr400 going flatout, you meanie!

Liam, i hope you are feeling ok man?
Next time just let the rag go :P

Over all i had a great time, learnt the full track, learnt 2much (buahaha, sorry, i had to say it), few moments here and there, bloody good fun.
Would have been so much better on a dry track of course, prolly learnt more being wet but would of had more fun in the dry.
There was bugger all down time, i got 5 runs at 15-20min each, plus 20 min at the end "all in" session.
Hope to see more of you there next time!
    Cheers, Allan.

Keep me informed when you do them, with enough notice I can sort out work off and get some cash together. Really keen to hit the track....

So Kiwifruit by now you have hours of 'Taupo' track time on the rest of us.
Shame it was wet. Like Liftback said, I'd be keen to try and get to one of these. Only 2 weeks to go!

I dunno if thats gonna be an advantage or not MD,
its a farking great track tho, esp the full version.
Its not suited to a 1000cc bike thats for sure,
a 600 would be the ticket, the long straight is the only place the thou shines...
Looking forward to the KB day.
Will give u all heaps of notice for the next one we run

Thanks man, I had an awesome time. It was great to finally test myself against some other bikes. Thanks to the marshalls and everyone involved in running it. Look foward to the next (hopefully dry) one. Would be good to see some pics too, there were some very nice bikes there.
