Was thinking of running my virtualrugby.net competition for the World Cup in 6 weeks. Im in the process of developing it for smaller groups and could run it for kiwibikers if you guys are keen. It dont cost nuffing to join and could be a bit of fun. Someone could offer a prize to make things interesting?
I tend to only watch football during World Cups.

Mmm.....'eard that one before......money buys players and it has not helped Real Madrid.......individually yes the players cost 'eaps although it could be argued that 2 of the most important players have been Lampard and John Terry who did not cost a fortune.....theyPremiership have thedesire and seeing them hug after winning Premiership cannot be bought with money....plus the writing was on the walls a few years ago with Ranui....

OK - Rich AND astute enough to buy a championship.
I want a salary cap. It works in AFL and NFL - it's not the same 4 richest clubs every year in those comps. The draft system works too.
A salary cap might even work in NRL - but nobody seems to have observed it yet - there are only 4 teams who haven't been fined.
