Hate to see people leave, do their own thing or not want anything to do with KB again. I for one appreciate everyone I have met and have learnt lots from this site. There are many I still would like to meet, including the Thursday night crew.

It's sad, when wrong things are said and very hurtful to those concerned. I have no idea what has driven the person concerned to these levels. All I can say that. is that we are family and in every family, problems do occur and things have to be done to sort those problems out. At times, sure, there are irreconcilible differences and sometimes, it can be better to see a parting of the way.

Not having been involved in any of this, I would like to see restoration and perhaps a level of trust built up again. Right now, this can only start through one person and you know who you are.

To make the principle of this issue clearer:

JSG often endangers his own life while riding and occasionally that involves adding risk to another rider.

This annoys many people, but some accept it and are aware, they take measures to ensure they're not at additional risk.

JSG makes his comments and PLAYS people along about the bullshit incident.

He has now officially fucked with another persons life.

That is the principle.

His mistake was that so many people care/respect the persons life he fucked with.

This to me makes the most difference as it isn't just another BS thread/mere words. If it was I'd more than likely rite it off as so.

No one has previously given a flying fuck when this type of attitude has been brought up in the past, particularly in the case of Paul in NZ, and to a certain extent me when I got fucked off (and still do) at people's attitude to issues personal to me. Now that it affects one of the the people that has no problem slinging name calling and aggressive behaviour in anyone's direction, it's suddenly a big deal?

I've ranted about people's inability to differentiate between a typical globally dispersed Internet forum, and a site that is both local and REAL as opposed to virtual only. I like meeting KBers, going on rides, and learning about them and the places they ride. It's way better than the virtual existence a bike mag brings, and far greater in scope than the bike clubs one had to organise even 15 years ago to have any sort of social aspect to motorcycling.

Every time I bring this issue up, I get told to harden up, largely from a cadre of dedicated shit stirrers.
