If any of you happen to be down on Taupo waterfront around 11 am Sunday and see a blue Blackbird parked up, it'll be me. I've promised to take Mrs B to brunch at one of those open air cafes where SH1 joins the waterfront.

Good weekend for the Kapiti boys.
Neil won the series and got knee down for the first time! (VIRGIN NO MORE!!)
and Eamon came 3rd (from what i know??)

I even got a go on the Honda CBR600rr (Haydens bike from last year), during the lunch break! SHIT WAS THAT FUN! Apart form someone crashing just after the start/finish straight which killed any fun through that section.
They looked ok, was up and moving anyway.

Saw a few KBers there, but was just enjoying the day.

    However!...
Did not enjoy the ride there or back! SHITE WAS IT COLD!!!! wont go on bout that though.

Well done to DSS... for keeping it upright coming onto the start finish. Saw you going wide, back wheel hits paint, steps out, straightens up, DSS shrugs it off and carrys on. GOOD SHIT!!

Our ride home was fine. Except for riding into the sun and twilight it was all good.

Mate, i had some 750 thing holding me up!
I dont know how Hayden raced that bike like it was. Bloody soft in the front, and solid in the rear. Felt funny. Still loved it!

Am looking at buying it, but not for a few months.
