Who purposely scuffs up their new riding gear???

I dont scuff them up hard out, i just give them a little scuff... Scuff one of my brand new knee sliders when i was riding too...

Knee sliders don't get scuffed.. they get used up, just like deodorant, or toothpaste.. and when they're all gone, you just replace them..

..thinking about it, they sell oil and petrol at petrol stations.. they should also stock knee sliders..

But i do agree, stocks of knee sliders at petrol stations...

I have thought about grinding my sliders down a little bit, can't do it on the road, and I do have a perfectly good bench grinder sitting there.... hmm.
I hate the look of virgin sliders, that always pisses me off for some reason, but now I too have them. The problem is, if you take them off, you'll never knee down, but if you leave them on, you look like a goop until they are ground a little. Damn catch 22.

Chris, this scuffing business is a tad on the weird side, but we're all weirdos at times eh! Sounds like a bit of a habit you've got into and you don't really know why you do it?? If it's not superstition then maybe it's a *show* thing?

New gears have to be worn in so i'll rub snow seal type product into my leathers, boots, etc to soften them up, but i'm not into scuffing or marking my expensive apparel if I can help it!
