    Need a 250

For the GF. About 2K. I'll be doing the wrech work so she don't have to be a stunna but I don't want to have to spend months getting her back in fighting trim.

    What you fella's/lass's got?

Sell ya my old Rebel. Not registerd in NZ yet but soon as my dad sends me the part I need to fix the engine that will get sorted. only has a small hole where the motor mount broke off taking a piece of the cylinder casing with it. Runs fine as is even only leaking a very small amount of oil while running. Other than that it only needs new handlebars, grips and rear indicators.

    Cool

Aff-man - come on mate you know that she fell in love with the GN250 that day at Colemans...

Frosty has a GN250 that is up for grabs, and it even has a brand new paint job on it and engine work done... and its under the price that you want to be paying out... so that you will have extra money to go and buy any new protective gear that she will need.

Tis a great learner.... you will get your money back once she feels comfortable going up to a faster bike... which is the way to go...
plus the parents will be happy too that it aint a fast bike...

This GN250 will take her throu til the summer months and by then she can go to what ever type of bike that SHE wants to ride.

Remember mate it will be her riding the bike and she has to be happy on the bike...

    Just my 2 cents worth.

    Thanks crashe

We're looking around at the moment, and I've said that SHOULD I decided on a GN, then I shall HAVE a GN.

But at the moment, it's just looking at options.

(Also because, although I fell in love with the GN, I seem to pretty much be in that virginal biker state where I fall in love with everything in my price range )

lol sounds about right... but think about how your going to feel in 3 months time when your confident and stuck on a GN... rather save up a little longer and get something that you'll be happy to ride for 1.5 years until you get your full... But if your dead set on a GN... I have a friend who knows this guy whos boss went out with this other chick, well her sister has a pushbike with one wheel and rusted gears that goes a little faster than a GN...
