    shut up Roger

Car Club has Oked the morning of rd5, but permits, Ambo, Marshels etc all need sorting, also we need numbers, not a lot of interest here so will get the news letter out soon to let the Nelson crew etc know.

P Jones has said he will shear the track with us in the morning, so we will plan on having the 1hr finish soonanuff so as ther will be pleanty of time to get ready for the arvo... expect an early day.
The cost will exceed $1000 so we need to be cearfull

EDIT: just noticed those that have voted for 'yes' I will race... great to see a few outa towners including Aucklanders good shit guys still guttered bout F5 tho... and branco, what bucket do you race?
    cheers DD

    cool

Leave Roger alone . With a finalised date it will be easier for out of towners to commit to comming. 1k souldnt be too hard to come up with a major naming sponsor will probally be happy to throw some money at the event. You need to (as el presedentay) visit /contact some bike shops Im sure someone will want to back a national motor event like this, have you spoken to tvnz selling the television rights?

I'm interested in sponsoring it with my MotoEquip biz, since bucket pistons are a big part of my biz. I'll have to talk to my fellow director.

Cool that your interested, this is only a suggestion so please take it this way. MotoEpuip is just getting off the ground, supply spot prizes for the event and use the money to get your name out to the wider market most of the bucket guys already know you guys are and what your about. take small steps and lots of em. We need a corporate needing to blow 1k or more for a tax dodge.

Is there any problem with starting early on a Sunday? Are we allowed to start at say 8.00am?

If anyone is going to head down from wellington I would be keen on sharing transport/costs or just sending the bike down if anyone has space. Would like to get down there.
