    Auckland Ride?

    hey there fellow kiwibikers... :spudwave:
shouldnt we plan a ride for those 250 goers or those back to the sport of motorcycling for sometime in march? this event would be held in Auckland preferably and would be suitable for those auckland riders??
give us something ti improve our skills and meet some of the other guys who are supposed to be wearing L plates?

i organised two of these when i was on my 250. The best thing to do would be to try and get onto the next learner riders day. That way you are getting some feedback from other riders to help you improve your riding aswell.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

That sounds really cool. It'll be my first group ride. But when you said march, did you mean like next year?

err.... no, if you look at the dates of the posts, it was an old thread from early march.

We (well, Weasel and I, anyway) probably won't be running learner rides until the weather fines up again...

There are plenty of group rides going every other weekend and some often during the week, such as the Thursday night ride. If you are keen on getting out on one of those, try to find someone you can talk to on here and buddy up with on the day who knows the route or the group.

in order to appreciate a good steak, you should eat the occasional greasy hamburger.
