I work in, and have been for quite some time now, the construction industry basically as a project manager. Most of my clients are developers and property investors doing large amounts of residential developments, as well as the odd home owner wanting a new home built. I also know how to swing a hammer ok.

I am contemplating a bit of a career change into the world of business management or property management, or working directly with a developer. I also have a HUGE entreprenuerial streak and use most of my free time (that not spent riding) working on my own business plans and venture opportunities.

Well I'm no longer a taxi driver....got demoted to IT systems Engineer looking after W2K3 servers and now Apple OS X as well. Now if there was anyone running a recruitment company that had IT jobs going in NZ for people in the UK with residency (and an indefinite returning residents visa) ...well it would save me waiting till October 2008 to come back.
