Arr good, another developer that like hassling the DBA. Shoes on the other foot for me as I'm hacking code for the next 6 months and presenting it to the crew I used to work with as a DBA.

Just read you homepage and agree fully about the whole region coding bullsh*t. Have also been tearing my hair out waiting for b5 season4.

Hope it wasn't this year, I was coming down with a real bad kidney infection and I wasn't in my normal party mood at all, the 300 km ride home while I was alternating between burning fever and cold shivers plus needing to (painfully) pee all the time was not something i would wish on anyone, still I'm pretty much recovered and ready to stir as ever now

So you're on an internet forum and wondering why so many people also on the forum are computer geeks ???

If you went to a bike rally probably the number of geeks would be less because that rally is open to every biker that can get there. But now you're in a "rally" where only people with access the Internet can attend. I know a lot of non-geeks now have internet access but I'd say because of this the numbers are higher than you'd meet in "on the road".

I used to be a cage dweller until I rode my first bike, being into computers had nothing to do with either addition.

Reason no real money in bikes, i had to choices do a computer degree, or a motorbike degree, computers won out, and keep motorbikes as a hobbie and spend all my money on them

Good to see you fess up Spud.
Don't be shy about it (I guess you haven't really)on the gixx and ZX12 sites most of the coppers use patrol cars ect as their sigs,no-one gives them too hard a time about it.

and i've only written 2 tickets out to motorcyclists. one to a gang dude on a tricked $40000 v-rod at 149km/h, and one for a 197km/h effort on a GSXR1000 on swamp rd after paeroa in 2001.
And you too Marty ,at least we know who to direct our legality questions to now.Maybe Spank could set up an 'ask the cops' forum like on the ZX12 site,if you guys were into it.
Did you come up to the airport a couple of weeks back?I saw an aprilia250 heading down puhinui rd about lunchtimeish.....

Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.

I made one last year, pretty cool aswell, but of course it was strictly for "research" purposes.
They are a firearm as per the Arms Act. Possession of one and shooting one off could lead to several legal problems. Mine has been dismantled. Was good fun while it lasted though, especially the foot long blue muzzle flash at night time.
