    Very Clever & Funny

Try this very soon, before someone forces Google to fix it,

    site:

    1) Go to www.Google.com

    2) Type in -- weapons of mass destruction-- (DON'T hit return)

    3) Hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button, NOT the "Google search"

    4) Read the "error message" carefully - the WHOLE page.

Someone at Google really has a sense of humor.

That is not a google error message, it is an external site made up to look like an IE error page (look at the address in the address bar), and somehow they managed to get it to come up when I'm feeling lucky is pushed (does google have control over this?). Still bloody funny though, especially the "Bomb" link

Love it! There sure are some clever pricks out there.

Spud, I think that's been available for some time, can't see it going any where for a while.

The "I'm feeling lucky" option simply gives you the first page on the search list. As this site has been mentioned so many times on the internet, and linked to so many times, it naturally appears at the top of Google's list.

Google uses a clever way of listing sites based on their "popularity" - ie how many times they are referred to by other sites. Easy way to boost your own sites popularity is to create a whole load of other pages on different sites and submit them to google. That was how I got my workplace (hmif.co.nz) up to top 5 in the searches for "heritage materials digitization"
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Doing this is called "google hacking". In order to do it all you have to do is get the typed text linked to the page in question as much as possible.

Do an I'm feeling lucky for Litigious Bastards. That is another example of an intentional google hack. It was started on /. to vent frustration at SCO and their frivilious lawsuits/threats.

Sadly this is not a new thing.
There is also the google game. Try and do a google search and find nothing.
