    Someone showed me once

    Hold a card/paper with the numbers 1 2 3 4 written on one side...
Ask a person to choose a number (showing them the card)
90% or thereabouts will choose number 3.

The guy that showed me was an Ozzie used car dealer type. He had printed on the opposite: "9 out of 10 sexual deviants choose number 3. Hi, my name is ------- -------" His surname was the name of a fast red italian sprotscar too, sleezeball.

And I thought I was demented.
Gun-metal silver is usually a sign of high wear/use. Your probably not far away from cracking up under extreme torque.

    Than facing fearful odds

actually, the original email had heaps of space between the sums. It would have been a whole page by itself if I had left it. May be the space between them is screwing up the trick a bit..??
