Any 250 riders looking to step up? Hate to let it go but have bought a Triumph Sprint, the Yamaha speaks for its self really, its a minta. New tyre's late last year,warrant expires August, rego Jan 07'.......

shit, looks in good nic. Correct me if im wrong but thats pretty much an R6 engine in a touring frame, so all the balls with more user friendly handling right?

yea 100 hp, it hasn't moaned at me once, great in and out of corners, even better two up but just need a little more top end , and tho' the yammy is comfortable two up at 100-110, i feel it works a bit when you wrist it at that speed to pass, hence the bigger bike. But its fantastic when you are the sole pilot..........

Cheers JSG, and that link is impressive, great write up on the YZF, it covers everything and cements my thoughts that this bike is would be a great choice in which to step up from a 250, the low k's is a plus.

i was going to get one, but when i had the licence and the money there were none around, then the R6 showed up at a better price than the YZF's i'd seen so i got it. Im a wannabe track rider/racer at heart so it was more me anyway, and i know what you mean about needing the extra power two up, makes you feel sorry for it!
