    now i am not terribly up with my french but i am pretty sure i heard one of the french coppers yell "SHIIIT!"

    damn, narrow corner! if the cops had followed the bike around, the bike likely woulda been run into that fence/pedestrian etc. then they coulda been sued for damages [the cops]
