Ok. officially putting my bike up for sale. Will be sad to see it go but I really want a bike that is more capable for 2up touring. Bike lives in Ashhurst but is in Palmerston North on working days. Used as a commuter and weekend tourer since sept 05. I had to have it revinned when I brought it last August so it has had a pretty good working over to make sure all is good. New bits include
Clutch
mirrors
indicators
fork seals
rear brake rotor
brake pads
headset bearings
front screen
spark plugs
Just gave it it's birthday today with shiny new filter and oil. (ok the oil wasn't shiny)
It is fantastic 1up for touring. Been on some 6-700k rides in a day and never missed a beat. Did the coast to coast on it. Never had alot of trouble keeping up with the group. I am not as quick as some riders, a little faster than others.
I will get the seat recovered on sale. I have been meaning to do it for a long time but can't get off the bike long enough to get it done.
