vids came out crap. The camera is a 3 megapixel digital camera so it doesnt have the best frame rate for vids. Got side on shots of the faster bikes going past on the straight. Each bike only appears in one frame over a distance of about 20m. And the video i got on the corner i took those pics from was at the start of the session when you were all still warming up yer tyres.
Will have to wait for cibby to put up the stuff from her camera, i'd expect them to be better quality.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

It's good advice to avoid the last session - that's often the one when the accidents happen. As it turned out, it was a pretty quiet and fairly short session so rounded out the day nicely.
Great photos Gareth!

I was chatting to him towards the end of the day. He said he is on KB but is quite new. Didn't catch his name though either.Originally Posted by Toast

Ha Ha so you see thru my plan. When I first went out there about 8 months ago that Murray on the Blue R6 lapped me before I did 3 laps. Noticed he was doing slower times than I would have been. So it's just about clocking up track time and using an Ohlins of courseOriginally Posted by boomer

Hi Toast (or is that Toastie). Sorry for the delay. Was not trying to appear mysterious. I tend to check out KB at work (free broadband n all). That was me on the Alstare 600 with the yellow and black leathers at Taupo and at Puke this weekend. What were you riding at Taupo? Great to see some photos of Puke too by the way. Is there anyone so vain as a motorcyclist after a track day looking through photos of the event? I don't think so! Tim. Also, apologies for the extremely boring KB name.
