There have always been little tossers - and often they come from the best of homes - who will pick on those who are different to them, whether the bullied person is older, paler, darker, skinnier, fatter, male, female, etc. I have no time for people like that, nor do I have time for those who are rude and impatient with those people. I was in the supermarket once, fuming because I'd got in a queue that was going slower than all the others - until I saw WHY it was going slower. At the head of the queue was an old guy on a mobility scooter, being served by a girl aged about 16. She was SO patient with him I immediately felt guilty - she counted his change back into his hand and then walked around and packed his groceries into his bag for him. I complimented her on her actions when I was served and said that when I got to his age, I hope I found someone like her.

I wish you could still clip a little sod around the ears and know it would have some effect. Nowadays you're likely to get charged with assault and then they'd find out where you lived and start picking on you!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Talking about random street fights.. I saw a bit of a scuffle on Saturday morning on Commerce St in Hamilton (furthur up the street from Frankton Market #31 Commerce to be precise). A guy (looked P.I. or Maori approx 30ish) was riding his pushbike on the footpath (which you're not apparantly supposed to do), and there was a kid (14ish Maori, and I guess his older sister 17-19), and the guy on the pushbike rode straight into the kid, fell off onto the ground (the kid also fell), then the guy got up and started shouting at the kid "when there is a bike on the footpath, you're supposed to get out the f**king way", he then proceeded to punch the kid (while his sister was screaming "no, don't hurt him", the kid then backed into the street, pulled his phone from his pocket, dialed the cops (i guess), and shouted at the pushbike guy "i'm gonna sue you, you c*nt".. anyway, the guy got back on his pushbike and went off quickly..

..was quite an interesting watch.. and then i carried on delivering mail..
There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there? -Clerks
