    Well layed plans...sigh.

Motuspouse is going to ChCh on wednesday for nearly a week, the boys are being looked after by the MIL,and I can have them back for the weekend....if I want. So,the Motuhause all to myself for a week,ah...beer before bed,no food that makes dishes,no washing because I can wear my socks all week.....go for a ride at 10.00pm.....

    Meanwhile,not far away.....

My elder daughter and partners new house is finished, exciting stuff for a young couple, they have been painting into the early hours of the morning all week - but now they have run out of paint, they have run out of money, and they have run out of time. They were supposed to vacate the rental and move in this weekend - but....the floorsander is dicking around,he was late starting, and at 3.00pm he had already gone home, the edges aren't done.It will be wednesday or thurs before the floors are ready for furniture.

They are renting off a friend, only 100mtrs across the park from us,the new house is across the park, and across another park,500mtrs away. The landlord is ok with them staying, trouble is she has booked the painters for monday so all their furniture has to be out in the garage. So,we will have two extra people and a cat living with us for a week....that's ok,I kinda like my girl for some reason.

BUT!....oh boy,BUT - son in law's mother is coming over from Aussie on wednesday!!! Oh jeez, the wife goes and my daughters mother in law moves into MY HOUSE!!!!! She was supposed to be coming over to help with the shift and painting, but the plans have all fallen apart.

Ah,bloody hell - I better cancel my order at the Escort agency....

A special form of torture, Motu. Like holding out the keys to your dream vehicle, then snatching them away with a laugh.
You must have been a REAL bad boy in a past life.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
