The Coro Loop is approx 400k from ham.
Could be keen to come for a spin on the weekend. Will know closer to the weekend.
If the the weather is looking really good i might end up somewhere near Kerikeri, the Mrs wants to go and catch up with some friends.

You wont get much change out of 6hrs. And that would mean minimal stops.
Would plan 7-8 with the guys on the smaller bikes. That would allow plenty of time for stops, food , and liquid refreshments.

Thats why i said allow 7-8 hrs. You will only be in the saddle 5-6 so your poor arse will have plenty of time to recover.

It took us 7 hrs to do the whole loop with a stop in Coromandel and Coroglen(mmmm Ginny the barmaid), a gas stop in Tairua and another stop in Whangamata... so not a bad little trip

Where were all the Hamilton riders yesterday anyway?...not one
Built for speed, not for comfort

hmmm.. that sounds do-able.. The Hamilton riders headed for a shortish ride around SH22 Ngarawahia round to somewhere near Raglan.. or something..

why dont we look at a 5 hour ride(with stops)??? 7-8hr will have my backside regreting buying a motorbike.

Why not Hams-Rotorua-Tauranga-Hams??? that would be far more gentle on the saddle area

I'm keen for whatever.. although.. when you've got a corner every 4 seconds, you don't think about your seat as much..

brianemone: with that Hams-Rotorua-Tauranga-Hams ride you're thinking of.. as long as it's on the backroads, and not on the main ones, it should be all good..

You should be right, you will probably get an extra 10 - 15 mins break at every stop. Will take a little while for the small bikes to catch up.
And if you dont have to wait you will just have to get hard!!!

I'd be into that infact I've done that a few times by myself.

Would be fun to watch zeroindex go up the mamaku's or kaimai's
