was a good ride? i went to ngaruawahia today after uni and got my oil...bikes still sluggish and doens't go much above 6000 rpm even after i cleaned the plug...my theory is that airfilter is really clogged...just havne't got around to cleaning it anyhow seeeing as i'm getting my leather jacket next weeknd i mite head up to aucks if the bike is in suitable condition and the weather is nice so i can test it out...probably sunday unless i'm hungova from 21st outing on sat

anyways getting to the point if anyone else is keen to head up let me know
didn't want chicken.. ride was good though.. only thing i don't like is those damn griddy-style corners (the bit where the road has lines in it).. end up with really bad traction / it feels bad.. managed to pass a suv thingy on one of the corners on the way back, and after pulling into the caltex (first one into hamilton) to clean my visor, didn't see the car for almost a minute

buga looks like i won't be riding my bike for a while...finnaly took it all apart to fix up things which needed attention, airfilter is clean as...so guess it's all in the muffler, thats getting cleaned today by a mate who says he's got something better than soapy water however the speedo still isn't working and when we took it apart it seems the speedo drive needs replacing new one costs $172 and i have to wait 3 weeks while they import it from japan, so no WOF or rego till thats all back in...will try begging on KB (i assume there's a parts forum section) incase anyone knows where i can get 2nd hand one or even just a whole extra bike:P...looks like it's back to the car for a month, right when i get my new leather gear as well DAMMIT

Weather looks ok on Sunday, think I will go for a play / test on 22. Need to stretch in some new leathers and make sure recent mods to the bike work ok.

i would come with, but noticing you've got an R1, me coming along would be a waste of time..
