For ever action...there is a reaction.
I was tempted to take it to Oz. Cost prohibitive though. Not just freight but reg hassles and all. Not quite sure how I'll part with it. Nor my race bike. Both my babiesOriginally Posted by kels

Jesus, 10 points for honesty! Well it looks like you've done it up well. It didn't kill anyone did it as thats the only thing I'd really object to. Could I perhaps inspect it?Originally Posted by Stevo

Really the bike wasn't in very bad shape at all.
Just ruined the pipe, right side footpeg and fairing, front guard and top fairing, also the indicators.
For some reason in that pic the guy had ALL the fairings off. I paid a bit over $4500 for it, and cost about 3000 to do up.
It was professionally painted, Waylander got the graphics out of the States for me, and the right and top fairings came from Oz (2nd hand).
The rear tyre prob has about 4000kms left on it I spose. I have done about 12 on it so far, Avon Azaros AV46 ST and front AV45 ST. Bike seem to go well on them. I have no complaints, but then I don't really thrash it by wheelies and stuff either. Save all that for the off road.
Pix show only scars of original crash.
The front scoop is normally barely noticeable. Otherwise I would have got a replacement part from BikeBandit in the States.
I can vouch for this bike. Fantastic condition even though it has been dropped, you dont even notice the gravel rash. The pipe makes the bike sound fantastic....... Damn I want it.

Yeah its a good bike but the plastics are crappy(self tapers hold it on) and the Subframe metal isnt good. Durability in general isnt good but if you look after it its alrite i just gt mine with 80hrs worth of ride time on it from the magazines.

So Gas Gas fit Ohlins to their bikes and all then don't bother fixing the plastics properly???Originally Posted by IronicCapers
