Like I said 'Decals to go on'! I have them now, just need to put them on.

Just thought I'd let people know that the fairings have been done.
The price is always contentious and I understand what you said b4 regarding your ZX, but like MrMelon says these go on forever and just look at the aged tat you get from the dealers under $8k. I'm in no rush as she's sweet but if I'm offered a fair price then I'd get something newer for the long term.

BTW there's a blue 96 on Trademe for $6100 with NO graphics on it.

thats a decent price. My 98 went for a little under $5k though and although it had some minor body work questions it came with a lot of goodies. braided lines race tail section, aftermarket raied exhaust, newish rear shock, paint for a respray etc etc etc.

Good bikes though and a very good introduction to the 600 size bikes..
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Looking good now Awesome bike to learn on, so tractable from down low. Out of interest, what was the bottom set of stickers worth?

Got them done by a friend in the vinyl/decal trade. Can't get them off the shelf and the one's on ebay don't have the chequered effect. Wasn't sure about putting it on as the new paint looked so damn good, but I admit it does finish the bike off.

I know of a rusty (salt air for a few years with no cover), high kms 97 model in green that's the owner is asking for $7500-$8000...

Just sold my 99 model for around $7000+ so this one is a good price by the looks of it.

Written off by 'an act of god' and a suicidal 9th floor window as you may be aware from my other post.

AMI will have ownership soon and it will be up for tender at their yard in Otahuhu, I think on Tuesday mornings. Would make a good project bike and is perfectly rideable, just needs a respray and seat repaired.
