Ha and to add to the traffic problem on the motorways this morning, Sarah just called me to say a taxi just smashed into the back of her on the motorway.

Bloody hell what the hell is wrong with all these Muppet car drivers?!. Throw in a bit of water and half of Auckland forget how to drive!.

The bloody SCU should be fined for closing main arterial roads for the time they spend on their investigations. 2-3 hours to take some footage and do a few measurements???

Fast Lane should be renamed "Look At Me You Muppets I'm Actually Moving Lane"
From what I've seen, the left lane moves significantly faster than the right. It might have something to do with the amount of people using the differing lanes though.....

They have to be thorough. Otherwise someone might criticise them if they measure it wrong. After all, it might turn out to be a homicide.
    Speed doesn't kill people.

They can just put it down to the usual "speed kills". Take the photos and drag the wrecks off the motorway to get traffic flowing.
If they are actually smart, they will then put sightscreens around the vehicles to keep the bloody rubberneckers out of the equasion!

I drive to work and I know your pain.
I live 13kms away and some mornings it can take me 10 minutes to get to work, especially since they've extended a 70km zone.
Once I had to wait at an intersection for 7 other vehicles!!!!! Bloody bloody bloody!!!

That wouldn't be the Shotover St intersection by any chance would it? Bloody disgraceful that they let it get so busy there.

No, I'm out at Frankton Industrial.
It's the Lake Hayes intersection - 100km zone there.
Shotover St has got a roundabout - just like Paris!

A one meter circle of road marking paint is not a round-about.

And hells-bells, it takes me 15 whole minutes to get to work!
But that's walking to work, on the bike it's 3 minutes!! - that is as long as I don't hit rush hour and have to wait for up to 5 or 6 vehicles to go past the end of the street before I can pull out onto the main road - SH1!!!

    Commuting down here sucks big-time!!
