One for the girls
Three men were sitting together in a pub, when the one in the middle started bragging about how he had managed to give his new wife a number of chores. He had married an America girl and had told her that it was her duty to do all the dishes and housework. He said that it took a couple days but on the third day he came home to a clean house with the dishes washed and put away.
His friend on the right said that was nothing to boast about. He had married a girl from Canada and had assigned her the duties of doing all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. He said that on the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, the house was clean, the dishes were done and she had a huge dinner on the table.
They turned to the third man, on the left, who had married a New Zealand girl. He said that he had told his wife that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said that on the first day he didn't see anything and on the second day he didn't see anything either. But by the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye. Enough to fix himself a bite to eat, load the dishwasher and call a landscaper.
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem
