Cool, I'm keen on the pre Shaun Harris day one. Might as well get in an extra day while I'm down that way!

You generally get 15-20mins every hour unless something unplanned happens (bin or crap on track). I turned up to one of these and was the only bike. These days might have a few more turning up to practice for the winter series.

Its not a public openday like the Clubsport days coming up but people do turn up on roadbikes.

Well the forecast isn't for bad weather so might be a good day at the track.
Only problem I have is working 10pm Thurs till 6am Friday so might pack my bike up today and get a bit of sleep before getting to the track at 10am or so.

Anyway if your going see ya there rain or shine..

Was surprised so few bikes turned up as it was an excellent day weatherwise. What made it good from my point of veiw was there were 3 SV650's there. Glen Williams had his one (first time out) SVS and myself. Phil had a laptimer on his bike so we had a good idea of the laptimes. No prizes for guessing who was circulating the fastest out of the SV's.

Phil had also brought up my new tyrewarmers. My tires seem to be wearing much better now. tyrewarmers.co.nz Might write a review after I used them a bit more but I'm rapt with them.

Good to see Jimbo's new bike. Cowpoos was there on his way to Auckland . Suglite rode over. Skelstar rode up. Must have been Slokepoke on the Yamaha. And some guy on a ZXR250 from Palmerston North who's names real and nick on here I can't remember

Bit of sunstrike in the last session becuase the day was so fine. Roll on Saturday 10th for the next one

Must have been a long trip if you went via Vinegar Hill. The train track turn was in Feiding before you leave town. I reacon you left Manfeild by the wrong gate. Should have been two huge iron gates side by side right beside roadway. Then turn right.

Character building trip home. You'll be ready to do the Brass Monkey now. Maybe not if that was cold.

I might be able to make Saturday 10th. Depends on weather and money... i.e. how much the car costs to fix! I must have my priorities wrong somewhere... But would be good to get on the track again, for some reason I just bring myself to go that hard on the road these days.

Cold Skelstar? Did you say C-O-L-D? Can't say that I noticed it...might have been the heated seat...or could have been the climate control set to a tropical 23.6deg...or was that 23.7deg, memory fails me...the fresh fried chips were warming me up nicely too...as was the piping hot cuppa...
Yep, yep, yep sometimes it's nice to experience life as a cager...but only after a day at the track, eh?
Good to meet some of you blokes up there...pity you went by so bloody fast, next time spare a thought for a blokes' ego would ya!
