    McGregor's IoM bike ban

    Ewan McGregor has been banned from riding the Isle of Man TT circuit during shooting of his latest film. The “Long Way Round” star was desperate to ride the course, but the makers of ‘Miss Potter’ imposed a ban.

    Undaunted, McGregor managed to satisfy his biking urges. He said "I wasn't able to ride because I'm not allowed when I'm working. But I've had a great time here. I've visited the bike museum - and I've actually bought an old bike to add to my collection.'

    Shame he is a dude that Ewan. I have a copy of the dvd the long way round. Great dvd btw. Can lend it if any one want to borrow it.

    read in the 'long way around' book that he wasnt allowed to ride during shooting his films.

    would like to borrow that I missed most of the series as it corresponded with work commitment !!
