    iHug to charge for uploads

    So I get an email form ihug telling me they are changing my plan and I now have to pay for uploads too.

    I reply that completly sucks and am going to price up alternate isps.

    first step - I want broadband - virtual hosting and reasonable online storage.

    What are u using and how muchissit?

    Wonder if this is a ploy to force everyone with dial-up onto broadband? BB is the bees knees anyway.

    yep - and it's propbably more significant to me than most. most of my work leaves here as high res .pdfs or jpegs.

    Just blows after all the cheaper internet static lately.

    sorry - forgot to add - basic broadband plan - I think it's 5 gig. which I go close to using now.

    Almost all charge for uploads now, although it is usually included as part of the cap.

    When we signed up it was stated that uploads would not count towards the data cap. I asked my dad if he had received an email about this and he said he hadnt. Maybe its because we are on the old 2mbp plans.
