American footbal is so boring. never did like it. playing it with mates was alright but any kind of competition level got way out of hand. Should see some of the shit that goes on just between highschools let alone colledges. And the pro teams are nothing more than over payed whiney dicks.

Same with baseball, hockey (NHL) basketball.....

Hence the Cheer Leaders - Give the punters some thing worth looking at?

Have seen the American Football on Telly and couldn't understand it.

Talk to my brother he's the one that plays. Acts all big and tough but gets scared when I ask him to play rugby with me and my mates. Gives me a silly look and says' "But what about pads and a helmet?"

Shit! You wern't kidding about the fog.

Yep I 'watched' the game last night - couldn't see a damn thing. Turned the telly over to the kids and went to listen to it on radio - much better coverage. As far as the 'Canes go, I think playing 3 supertough games in a row was too much. As for the Canterbury team they won.

The biggest thing that pisses me off is all the f*cken bandwagon jumpers. I work with clowns who went to 'Varsity in Canterbury and after 3 or 4 years (the only time they'll ever live down there) they're suddenly loyal to the core - of course until Canterbury has a bad year (it has happened) and they'll be "I never really liked them" Wankers!!

I've always supported Wellington and the Hurricanes even when they didn't win.

That makes two of us. It (rugby) all seems rather pointless...
