MDU - cheers for that, but those are the post codes rather than the beep codes - cant see Acer on the list on the right, or am I missing something obvious? Unless someone has a mini PCI post card the codes alone wont narrow it down.

9cents - fans are working, and circulating the air plus it doesnt seem to be getting too hot so fairly confident its not overheating.

I have a spare stick of SODIMM 256MB ram if you need Cibby. Not sure on condition though.

I also have an Intel Celeron 1.7 Cetrino Prosessor ( Cant vouch for condition). Both came out of a liquid damaged NEC Versa M400 and I cant look for the official bits and bobs till I get home.

Ok, sorry just been busy with "work" . . . pfft, rude buggers. Dont they know I'm busy?

Ok, badcat, I think the PC2700 should work, as thats whats labelled on the RAM already in there. Had assumed it was 266mhz as Memcheck detected a 133FSB.

If you dont mind parting with that we can give it a try and see whether the RAM is the problem or not?

Your help is all much appreciated guys.
