cost + $10 (+ fitting) for race tyres only. but that's where the problem with 'the importer doesn't list em' is coming from...

and so whois the right person to speak to at cycletreads?

I think I talked to mark (I'm not sure...) I'm not very good with names.

Just call them back and tell them that you've been told that there IS a smaller tyre. They might not have them in stock but they should be able to get one for you easy. If they say there isn't, ask if you can talk to someone else (without being too rude)

hmm I race on the pirrilis (sp) MT75.

I managed 2nd place in the dry so they can't be too bad. Never ridden on teh dunlops, but i found the MT75s were great in the dry and pretty average in the wet.

BTW, i only have IRC tyres to relate to, so the MT75s WILL feel really grippy

Should get a group together for the 'Discount buy' thing.
Give me a few months to save up. Apparently my front tyre is looking a bit shagged

Jamezo's bike has a 90. It tips in too quick for my liking

I also liked how it handled with the 110 rear. The 100 makes it a bit too quick too. Not complaining though, the tyre Racey gave me is brilliant

I've got the tyres now. From Stewart at TSS - If you are riding in the winter series I recommend getting your tyres from him - you won't get a better deal anywhere else.

I've gone for the BT39SS. 90/90 front and 120/80 rear.

The 100/80 and 120/80 rears are both designed for the 2.75inch rim, so the 120 rear should be fine and not oversized at all.

I'm also going to try and run them tubeless if I can find valves to fit. The ones I've got are too big.

When I've got the bike finished, if anyone running a 100 rear wants to do a comparison on handling then let me know.

about $270 for both. price (if you're racing) is cost + $10 + shipping. Much cheaper than the TT900's and hopefully almost as good. Allegedly the bridgestones are better in the wet.

    Better in the wet huh?

It's probably a good thing, since, we are racing the 'winter' series

Strange I felt the same way on my fxr. Just got 90/80 on front and 100/80 fitted to the back (had 110/80 before) and I'm finding it tips in very quick and it sorta wants to keep tipping in when it is tipped over... Strange feeling....

It's so much nicer than the irc front and conticity rear I had on it before though (grip wise... especially in the wet)....
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........

Where's TSS??? and how do I get these deals from TSS???? Is it on ALL tyres???

Strange though... I still got my BT39s (90/80-17 and 100/80-17) from cyclethreads for 270 including shipping to Palmy...
