Smile Alright - guitarists, what are ya playin!

Considering I don't post here much (you guys are a bunch of teenage girls when it comes to drama llamas, but without the attractiveness) I've decided to regain my internet fame.

So, guitarists, WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING!?

For me it's Opeth - A Fair Judgement, and Trivium - Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr

So come on, cough it up!

The only song I ever learnt properly on bass apart from band's songs was:

MORBID ANGEL - GOD OF EMPTINESS.

Tuned down to A.. fuckin loose strings hehehehe.

Don't play bass much or drums much nowadays for that matter as well.. sad huh.

On bass, piss easy first riff for the learner.

Sorry dude. I was down at your work, doing the groceries thing.

I don't play a huge amount of covers. I tend to work them out pretty easily, but here's a few I've been playing around with lately when bored...

    Rush - Analogue Kid
Soundgarden - Room a Thousand Years Wide
Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack
    Pearl Jam - Evenflo
    Slayer - South of Heaven
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Oh my gosh, I finally get days off this week! :O

Rush, eh? I'm an enormous fan of 2112. For the time period I can't find anything better. It's such a moving piece.

Just started learning the bass and must admit that I sound like cat in a box.

Used to play Tool, Pantera and "older" music on the guitar.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Bass players aren't so bad. Its the drummers that are trouble. Especially if they try and play guitar...

Some of us play more than one instrument (guitar, bass, keyboards, banjo and flute.) Don't be so exclusive. The bass is great fun to play.

The main thing is to enjoy your music.

I agree bass has a time and place, it's just that this is for bitching radical beastly guitarists.

Oh my gosh I want my old acoustic back at the moment.
