I'll take the lead, but I have to first admit to being a little hesitant after reading Lynda's scripture about the weather and the roads around those parts at this time of year. Didn't mean to put you guys off, but the central north island roads can be very icy in winter if the weather's shit - after many years of travelling them all year round, I always treat them with respect. they may be fine, but then again they may not. Will talk with you when we do the leathers swap (30th May thread)

xjxjxj: we're now staying the Fri night in Taupo too. Would you mind if we used your pits as the KB meeting place? I'll see if I can enlarge a sticker in colour to designate your pit.

Turns out the 5/6/7th is Queens Birthday Weekend and I'm not working any of it (for a change!!!) and I'll be heading down to Taupo with Craig in the van, probably on Saturday, for the racing on Sunday. We might end up staying Sunday night too - see what happens.

Perhaps a side trip out to the track on Sunday would be on the cards for you lot???

I thought the racing was on Saturday the 5th????
