Interesting indeed as Duc-Gurl and I have been making loose plans for around that time too and are both interested in catching up at least. Would be keen on the experiences as opposed to a race....oh so many pic's to be taken too!
The big question is...how openminded are you? And yes I'm with you on the touching men thing mate...a line I won't cross, sorry Dover
Oh yes BTW....we are of similar age too.
Early February is Vincent County BRONZ Rally at Alexandra - a must do.Originally Posted by Blackbird

Early March is the March Hare - maybe, as it is up in the air as far as venue goes.![]()

Don't worry about me, just c'mon down.

Well we guess being open minded is just that...as to how open minded we really are? ....well lets just say we been in Auckland for a long while, visited a few good joints in our lives (smoked a few as well....lol) and not much scares us....EXCEPT MEN TOUCHING MEN......lol.
We would love to have you guys along.....

Life is about having fun.
When you come down leave your plans really flexible like it sounds you're doing - if it looks like the weather forecast says 3-4 fine days on the West Coast when you get off the ferry then start heading that way.
I'll be quite happy to see a few of you in South Otago, if there's not too many you can even camp here a night and we can do a gentle blast around the best roads and scenery around here.
Keep on planning
Early march would be ideal, the march hare is certainly a rally to be experienced, altho as SD says not sure of the actual location at the moment. My hope is that they do go back to the older site, much prefer it over the new site. (More shelter in the northwesters and nice river running round the site, and a nicer trip to get there, as well as both waimate and kurow a stonesthrow away).
Might even trip around a bit with you when you get down here...will have to wait and see what eventuates. But WILL be doing the March hare anyway

Awesome guys.....sounds like there'll be a bit going on whilst down that way.
I've never ridden the Mainland so truely looking forward.
Options on the table...plans are a hatching
