    Nostalgia?

I was reading LOTPIHGAD the other day, when I read a post about a nintendo 64. This brought back memories of a wasted childhood infront of a tv playing Goldeneye with Indiana and his brother.

A quick search of trademe and I found one for the right price. Fuck yeah. Internet? Nah, four people, one screen, the way it was meant to be.

The graphics are shit, the Ai is retarded, but I don't care, it's fun.

You wouldn't want to play with those of us talking about it in LOTPIHGAD then. Not only do we know where everything is. We also know where all 5 spawn points are for each multiplayer level.

I remember being at college and playing some pirate game on a green screen - text only no graphics....
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Good on ya! We still have a Sinclair Spectrum. Only a tape drive and doubt that the tape games like Manic Miner would run now. Our daughter learned to drive it when she was 3. She's now 23 and writing her Master's thesis so her early experiences must have done some good
