At the end of the rainbow

Oddly enough, I always thought there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow ...

    Lol, very good
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

I was one of those nuts - went up to Caltex at the bottom of the Takas Sunday morning but no one was around. It was dry when I left Tawa but didn't take long to start raining. I decided that I was already out on the bike so wasn't turning around and going home again. Gave the Takas a miss due to inclement weather and headed back to Pauatahanui. Called into the new 'Lighthouse' place for a coffee and then headed home again. Couple of hours round trip testing the wet gear out.
