Party Pills

There's no doubt it would. Yet Jim Anderton decided to jump in and stop this very process so that he could be seen to be taking a hard line on "party pills". With that mentality I don't see how it's going to stop in a hurry. There was a good little doco on this very subject in NZ on tv a few weeks back.

Im with you on this one SimJim, well the bike part anyway, i know some ppl that indulge and they are pretty cool ppl........ just aint for me, i grew outta that before i was 20 and its great when you're at a party and its being passed around, you refuse and it's all good, no pressure......

My daughter had 4 people got through A & E on sunday day night with problems from party pills.me thinks i will stay away from them just give me a beer.

No. And the addictive ability is much different as well. Heroin, and all opiates, are not highly addictive. They suffer from much bad press and urban legend in that regard. And, if you can afford the good stuff, heroin won't do your body much harm either. The big risks come from the ingredients its distributors use to extend it (dilution agents) which may be, at best, harmless and, at worst, extremely dodgy. Again, how many users or potential users ask for some robust provenance from their friendly neighbourhood dealer?

I took an old friend for a blat as pillion up the Taka's a few months back. We were scraping the can going around the right hand sweeper passing lane (not slow). When we got to the top he was like a dithering idiot, more so than usual. The next week I was talking to him and he fessed up; he was on party pills and the ride up the hill had him in a state of incoherence.

Hone Harawera,MP plans to outlaw the Tobacco Industry in NZ by 2010. I wonder if party pills will still be legal then?
