    Finally saw the footage on the late news last night. Pretty average job the cop did of controlling the skid I thought, particularly the use of brakes as the car slid. But then we didn't really see the start and things always look different on video that they are in real life. Maybe there were other factors the camera didn't highlight that made a parked car a better choice than saving the skid. At least the item wasn't anti-cop for a change.

    And why did the police dog go in when the guy was hurting himself? Sadly cops aren't allowed to discriminate against who they help - they've got to protect everybody. Even lowlife scum like speeders and knife weilding maniacs.

    Someone up my hill has that problem. Every now and then (right when you least expect it) you hit the bends only to find a truck or bus has managed to leave a long spill of diesel on the last 50m!

    my mate should make them up some PVC tires they will never wear down, but then again they dont smoke so i guess that destroys the point i think.
