Wanted - FZR250 engine

Hey everyone,

Im after a FZR250 engine, for my 88' 2kr. Im thinking I might chuck in a 3ln engine, with or without exup, from would I've heard its pretty much a straight swap. But if you have a 2kr engine I might be interested as well.

Preferbly from welly but may travel if I think its worth it.

There's A 3Ln wrecked bike with motor thats only done 11 thou, going on trademe at the moment you might wanna check that out you would get wiring and everything you need, I think the bike is poked tho.

yea, I saw that, tempted to put a bid in. I'm a bit cautious though as the magneto cover was cracked and I wouldn't be able to tell if the rest of the engine is f**t until I brought it.

Theres also a FZX250 out of a 92 zeal. He was saying it fits into a FZR, does anyone know about these engines? Are they better or worse than a standard fzr250 motor etc.. ? and do all the brackets etc line up with engine?
