I got him to buy them from this place for me..... http://www.seborabsinth.com/shop/pro...=1149736319936

Yeah I was thinking maybe like antique stores and places like that may have something....

If someone wants to take a look at mine then no worries, you can borrow it and try make something similar if you can't buy one.

The spoon is the least of your worries mate (drill and a serving spoon if you can't locate the real thing). The pipe could probably be made by a glass blower, the glass tubes for neon lighting would be a good place to start...

Cheers. I have a friend who does glass blowing as an art. Im sure I could coax her into making one in exchange for sexual favours or a bottle of wine.

You can get pipes like that somewhere in this country. I've drank Drambuie thru one.

Tried Trade Me or one of those stinky hippy shops?

Well, it might be a task, but in the crusade for finding better ways to drink absinthe (or any other liquer) I will happily devote my time to seducing and sleeping with the opposite sex.

Well. Back when I was a Massey student (at the real one, in Palmerston North) that guy in the video would have got pwned by the girls at the annual drinking champs. A good time for a 7oz glass was less than 0.25 of a second. I used to flat with a guy who could do 0.25s for his warm-up. 0.20 was a very slick effort. A good time for the mens eights (in the boat racing) had to be less than 3 seconds to ensure a podium finish. I've seen girls (OK, they were Dip Ag students) skull jugs in less than 6 seconds, and yards in about 35.

    Ahh. The pinnacle of academia!

Is that 89.5% proof or 89.5% alcohol?

Because Bicardi 101 is... funnily enough 101 percent 'proof' and it doesn't make you go blind and tastes quite good at the same time.
    gone.
