Bummer dude, when I went up the hill there wasnt too much traffic and the only cop I saw was when I was sitting at the summit having a ciggie on the way back home. Oh yeah one on the way back over the motorway... Was a fucken mint day to be out and about in Wellys, I had an awesome ride. Cant believe the Fush was closed!

The sneaky HP car in the new cop lay-by in the southbound lane near Belmont?? What a sucker he was, no better way to end a hoon over the Hill than to pass a radar-weilding cop with a quota to fill whilst riding 1km under the speed limit...

An excellent day. The summit carpark could have been a KB rally at one stage.

Hell yeah. Anyone else notice that there were 3 KR's there at one stage, all different years quite funny how they've changed over the years!

If I had known you were at the summit I would have stopped for a ciggy and a chat.

    BUT.

I was having too much fun and was zenning in the zone. Didn't want to stop and lose the momentum.

Next time your out (should be around september) We'll chatch up

Yeah cheers for the ride Dark/Vas. That wheelie was a result of a quick takeoff when I was racing V from the lights. V didnt know about the race. Must have used more than half throttle.

Yes that was rather disappointing to see, came all the way from Palmy to go there. Got lost for a little while but Glenn found me. How was your ride over to Paikak Ben?? I found all the others back at the top of the hill.

Yesterday over the hill was fantastic. We stopped for a while at the flood gates and took in the quiet, the reflections on the water, the autumn colours, the diving cormorants. Mrs H said rhetorically "Aren't we lucky to be able to do this?" Never a truer word...

What? The pie wasn't to your liking?

I had to laugh when you guys got to the top and just kept going, I kinda thought you were having so much fun you just didn't want it to end.

So true, so true. That was the first time I had been over the takas, There was a huge grin on my face the whole way. I completely forgot about stopping at the top untill I was down the other side.

you'll be sweet mate. the practice laps give you a good feeling for the track.

But most of all, make sure you have fun. No point racing if your not having fun

Yeah sorry I lost you guys, I didn't hear you say you were stopping at the top. Had a huge laugh going over the hill, gotta do it again.

Paekak was good - got stuck behind a skyline full of chicks who very kindly waved me passed, then tried to stick to me all the way up. Not a hope - I looked behind a couple of times and saw him sliding sideways round the odd corner, feeding it way too much, but I got clear ahead. Stopped at the top and the stopwatch said he was 1:30 behind me. Got a wave from the chicks and then had a quiet (read cop filled... since when are cops allowed to overtake in a passing lane at 120km/h?) trip back to palmy. A lovely day/weekend - 1200km's and well and truly the end of my back tire!
