    $6000 Dollar supporter challenge

    K5 GSXR 600 to lease

This is a 2005 GSXR600, comes with the following

    Yoshimura head gasket

The bike would be maintained and transported by the Moto-Dynamix race team.

The rider will get all set up notes from the last 2 season's as well as the guidence from Moto-Dynamix.

The $6000 dollar fee is a lease fee only! So the challenge is for some one to find a supporter/sponsor to lease this package.

    The Rider

The rider will be responsible for the following

    All crash damage
    Entry fees
    Fuel costs
    Tires
    break pads etc.

This package is on offer untill the end of this month (June) other wise I will just sell this bike.

Please contact me through PM or cell 027 2559143

PS, would prefer this deal to go to a young rider, not an old has been like me.

Bugger! No old farts. Guess that is you and me out MotoBob...

    but wait

The age thing is because I really want to help the young up and comers BUT

This deal is a sattelite deal to my main team, so, you go find your backer and come to me with the cash, and you get the ride.

I was thinking that there seems to be a bunch of people on here wanting to help others to race, so if these people are serious about this, I have delayed the sale of this bike to give some one the opportunity we have all been talking about.

i guess it is a matter of someone using there marketing skills/ contacts, to go out and find a company/backer/supporter to fund the lease fee, then the rider needs to find his/her own running costs.

Have fun, and never give up!

    Man!

    If only.

There would be no man in his right mind to 'sponsor' a 16y.o kid $6000.

    But ill still try!

Why not? Somebody sponsoring is either looking for $6k of publicity, a $6k tax writeoff, wanting to be seen to do some good to the community or a combination of the above.

$6000 is fuck all to a medium size business. Problem is getting them publicity, track day goodies or similar in return.

At the rider/sponsors descretion or only to predefined/agreed events?

How long will the lease last, one seasion?, also is there a right to renew the lease or purchase the bike?

By young rider, do you mean young racer or someone looking at getting into serious racing and has experience/abilities?

    Thanks.

    Hi

The deal is for the remaining VIC Club rounds and the full NZ champs including the streets if the sponsor/rider wishes.

If the machine was required for an event the team was not attending, you would be able to take bike.

The lease is from 1st July to the end of the Summer racing series at Paeroa.
I could discuss the option to purchase when season is over, as I have been asked that same question by a few other people as well.

The rider, it could be either of the options you asked about

    Cheers

Thanks Dss3, that is exactually what I'm thinking. I have been reading through the KB Sponsorship thread lately, and thought this is a way to combine the 2 together and to get another arse out there, it just needs a shaker an a moover to go out and make it happen, that easy!

damn it... once i've got some F3 experience i'd be keen. Bit of a leap diving straight into F2.

Is there any chance a similar deal will come up for next season?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
