    Cook me some eggs?

felt like a big breakfast this morning and there is this place up in parnel that has this big sign on the door - BEST SCRAMBLED EGGS IN THE WORLD

So i have always been meaning to try it out.

So i walk in - see on the menu they have a "works" type breakfast so i order it with a cup of coffee and a glass of OJ.

great way to start the day.

anyway - the breaky arrives and piled it was on the plate. I start getting into it. so good. coffee is great.

Its got those little creamy mushrooms and yummy cubbed fried potatoes... and the eggs are bloody good piled up on some really good toast. and its got fried tomatoes and some yummy greens

    and its..

    wait..

    what?

    what the???

no bacon? must be hidding under the toast... no? no bacon. and.. no sausages?

    okay - whats going on.

look up at the menu. big breakfast.... NO MEAT. um. i look around...

see a lesbian hippy couple enjoying some weatgrass in the corner - and another decided homosexual young guy having a cup of coffee and reading a metrosexual magazine...

    something is fishy...

the words Organic are plastered all over the place...

Oh My God. i am eating breakfast in a vegan cafe.

    what have i done???...
    gone.

I thought vegans weren't allowed eggs? But I'm no expert, as an unrepentant carnivore I studiously ignore anything foodly that does not involve pieces of animal tissue

serves me right for paying too much attention to the chick behind the counter.

    i duly ate the breakfast.

she bought me a free coffee

i left with her phone number so wasn't too bad.

but still - no bacon?? what the fuck. honestly.

Ha, ha! Similar thing happended to me on Pons road. Went into a cafe and was staring at the menu board for some time thinking that something was missing. After a while I noted there was no bacon. I asked "Where's the bacon?" They replied with a smirk, "We're Jewish". I replied "Well I'm not, I want bacon - see yah"

    Dumbasses.

Don't do it!! As the top predator it is our place to eat those lower down the food chain. If we weren't meant to eat meat then we wouldn't have guns and knives!!

Yeah only prob with being a vege is that you have to move around in the shower to get wet!!!!

Can't say I have that shower problem GB!

Sounds like a great place for breakky! Always pleasant to go somewhere and know you can pick anything off the menu and not worry about the presence of carcass! But each to their own eh?
