    World cup players girlfriends...

If all soccer players get chicks like these to spend 'time' with then I'm turning to roundball....

I think it's something to do with earning £60,000 per week. At those rates you'd either be able to support a very big cocaine habit, or be able to support a high maintenance stunner.......

Must be something to do with the money. I never ever saw anything remotely like that at any game I ever played in. (except of course when I used to watch Mrs Oakie playing for 'Oamaru Ladies' many years ago)

60k per week for kicking a bit of old leather round a field?! Or similar in the case of one of these alledgedly "super" models?!

That's pounds sterling mind. I think Michael Owen is on around £100,000 per week. At current exchange rates that's around NZ$270,000 per week.

Football has such a huge following in Europe, and especially the UK. It has a large following from the working class people, who's lives are so shit that they need something to get passionate about.

The players salaries are often financially sound investments. It's estimated that David Beckham has brought it around 40million Euros to Real Madrid since starting. Not bad return on a 7million Euro salary.

All for kicking a fucking ball around. I'm pissed off that I'm an un-co rubber spastic!

Estimated US$2.7million per year, including income from endorsements.
