    One for the wives

My husband is trying to convince me that we need to buy a 42 inch Philips Plasma TV. He sent me this link:

Hmm, 42inch Philips Flatscreen Plasma in the bedroom, might not be any room for the bed but that never stopped anyone...

Not if you mount a camera at the foot of the bed. (connected to the TV of course)

Well if it makes you feel better, my misses sent me out to buy a $450 digital camera from Harvey Norman.

    I came home with a $3500 42" plasma.

Bollocks! Plasmas are better if you are stretched for room. LCDs are better at viewing from a distance. Burn in only occurs on plasmas if you leave them on the same frame (2 fields= 1 frame) for hours. i.e pausing a video game and leaving it that way all day. Haviong it on 4:3 format all the time will result in burn in too so rotate formats.

No, I haven't paid for it yet. 2 years deferred payment. I'll have no money for tyres/trackdays/fuel in two years time.
