Motu might not like them, but I know about 3 or 4 people that have had great runs out of Primeras, havent known anyone regret buying one yet. Nice to drive too. Then again, Motu's a mechanic - I'm not.

The old Mazda 323's used to just go and go and go, but they are getting older now, so maybe they're not such a safe bet anymore. As for your celica's and levins - if you're wanting to lug 4 people plus computer crap, why are you looking at 2 door cars? Get a station wagon! Something like a corolla wagon would be the go. Aint much to look at, but it'll be reliable, cheap to run and it carry's a heap more stuff than any of the 2 doors - you ever tried getting a 17" monitor in the boot of a levin?

Dude give me a yell -- I sell cars for a living
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Primera's have front suspension problems - top link bushes and swivel hub bearings....Bluebirds have a different front suspn with no problems, why buy into ongoing repairs? Both with SR18/20 motors have engine mount problems too.
