Always say "Hi" to anybody that looks like they have just got off a bike - most times just start conversation by simply saying "Had a good ride" or "Nice bike etc"

Although yesterday it was "I stopped you because of your speed, any reason for it?"

Looks like we're all guilty of it at some point or another.

I always do it at work when someone buys a bike magazine... "So, what bike have you got?"

Not yet, they're having to breed a special supercow so that they can get a patch of leather big enough.

Well I won't venture to speak for size - but sourcing is easy enough, just go here http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=3583

He may resist of course. You'll have to be firm. Can I watch

Well, speaking from a blokes perspective, it's abit hard to check out whats behind the helmet till it comes off. Apart from a few more obvious lumps, it's pretty hard to tell a bloke from a bird till at least some gear comes off.

So, yeah, check out the bike first, what's wrong with that.

My wife tells me I can look but not touch. I'm pretty sure she's talking live females here and not the bike???? I like touching bikes, especially the throttle.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

i've resorted to sitting in the passengers seat this week as i cant drive for looking at bikes - its Laconia Bike Week and you cant go 10 metres without seeing 10 bikes on the road
