    when i start to feel a bit low, i take 2 garlic tablets, then 2 the next morning/night then 1 for the next couple of days... get them from the super market for stuff all....
    oh i don't smoke..cept the tyres....( OK I'LL SAY IT FIRST .....of the women that meet me, trying to get away fast)

    so..... you don't think the garlic is a factor then?

    Time to become a student. If you have a community services card and ur at Uni then the Uni drs are free

    I never thought I'd say this but I miss my GP and my nurse. The medical system here is OZ is bloody expensive, even with a medicare card. I pay (or my company) pays $160 a month for my health insurance and that gives me bugger all in claims. Every prescription here cost about $20 - $25 each per repeat. When I was in the mighty auck, my 5 types of medicine with repeats for 3 months cost me $0. Only the unsubsidised types of medicine was expensive, costing me about $400 for three months.

    I won't tell you about the endless paperwork and the queues. Being a type 2 diabetic sucks especially if you're being raised on 6 picnic bars a day!

    Oh BTW, get well soon. Can't have the old suzi rusting from lack of use!
